BALSAMIC GLAZE WITH BLUEBERRY AND LEMON ACCENTS
1 C Balsamic Vinegar
½ C Fresh Blueberries
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 3” piece of Lemon Rind
Add vinegar, blueberries, brown sugar, soy sauce in a saucepan, bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer away for 20-30 minutes. If you double or triple the recipe, it will require a longer cooking time.
When thick and syrup consistency time to remove from heat, cool and get ready to strain all the fruit out for a smooth glaze.
I love it for the control on plating…..
BUT…I adore the taste…here plated with Petit Filet Mignon with broiled Blue Cheese, this glaze is truly the finish to an incredible taste…it adds a powerful delicious finish! Enjoy friends!
